CASTROL Optitemp RB 2
Industrial Greases and Pastes
Special grease for cable lubrication in robots. Optitemp RB 2 can be used for lifetime lubrication of cables other grease-lubricated sliding surfaces.
Optitemp RB 2 is based on polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oil and lithium thickener.
It is compatible with paints and with most elastomers and plastics such as PUR, PVC, Polyester used in robots. It is also compatible with two-component sliding lacquers.
This grease is restitant to weld chips, the hot metal chips generated during welding do not ignite Optitemp RB 2.
Application temperature range: -50 °C (-58 °F) to +120 °C (+248 °F)
Worked penetration, 60 strokes at 25 °C (77 °F): 265 - 295 (0.1 mm)
Optitemp RB 2 was previously called Castrol Optitemp RB 1, its name was changed in 2015.
